How many of you have manicures or pedicures?
If u have to look down and check then obviously you're not conscientious enough!
Kidding.
Wellllllllllllllllllllllll................. over here.... EVERYONE (for the moment female) has one....
Everyone.
The receptionist (duh), kids on the street (double duh), the waitress (duh duh duh), the HOUSEKEEPERs.
Everyone of them... perfect french manicures.... on housekeepers!
How do they clean?????
Don't they like break nails???
Doesn't nail breaking hurt????
More importantly for me... don't long nails carry dirt and bacteria??? On the waitress, the housekeeper... the cooks????
Ah hah!
Ok.
I jus wanted to mention that.
I like manicures by the way.
And that last line was as important as the entirety of the rest of the post.
Footprints in the sand
Blah blah blah... blah blah blah... burp.

Hehe....
This is a post dedicated to the SPG (@#%&*&^(^?><@!).
If you don't know what that is, then don't worry about it.
Those of you who know... well this is for you.
Ever noticed how many gwilow are really friendly? (classic example - top of my head)
They meet you in the middle of nowhere, say hi, ask u about your day, make small talk.... steal your wallet, stab or shoot you (in the not so positive cases)....
Then compare it with Singaporeans....
Meet them in the middle of nowhere, wat do we do?
They stare at you (what are you looking at?), stare at their feet (stop looking at me!), stare at the ceiling (is that cleavage?), scratch their ass when they think no one's looking... then once you're gone they bitch about you - they only don't mug you cos they think you're an undercover cop jus waiting to turn them in.
Now back to the SPG (@$@#%#@!&*).....
All us yellow stallions have spent our entire lives wondering what on earth SPGs (!@$@%#^&*) don't like about us.
I mean don't they realise that ze gwiloh have been trained from birth to chat people up?
Their entire culture has been built upon sah kar, poh lum par... wait, excuse me, poh lum par is for all you SPGs (!*&%$>?@#$).
Don't wanna steal their only talent - that along with wearing tight skirts, laughing at stupid jokes and bending over whenever they here an accent.
Hehe...
I mean, so what if we're all not chatty, don't spend our entire lives chasing skirts, keep our hands under control and are discreet about our ogling?
Is that wat Singapore women want in men?
Oh pardon me! I didn't mean any insult to the rest of you.... You've all got character! And never stoop to such behaviour! I mean come on! Who amongst you actually thinks bending over to drunk men is a turn on????
Well, to all you women of character, I salute you!
Many of us gladly bend, kneel or squat for you! And our tongues aren't tired from all that senseless small talk!
Hehe...
That was fun.

OK.... I have finally spent almost 3 weeks here.... should be able to go home soon enough....
All better, wife will be here in 2 weeks!
Yeah!
Have finally started churning out serious work instead of jus learning - which in my opinion could have been jus a bit more efficient.
Lots of stuff to read..... sigh...
Well at least I like to read....
Trying to be as frugal as possible over here... Frankly, I can never EVER remember trying so hard not to spend money....
I know 'spending future money' is normally used in the context of financial years and budgets, but given the holiday with wife later on and all the stuff on the house I really have spent future money... all the way to the end of the year....
Haha... Always thought setting up a home and gettin married couldn't be that expensive, now I know better...
Ouch.
*****
Wifey is looking for a new job...
I really think a change will be good for her.... she's been telling me that the stuff she's been doing really isn't as fulfilling as it could be... doesn't help when I seem to find mine fulfilling and challenging....
I think she's got what it takes for more challenging (and more $$$ making) stuff.... something that involves more project management and the freedom for autonomy and creative thinking....
Obviously something that would provide her with future - projects or promotions - to work towards....
And given that I'm definitely not the type of guy that would be worried if my other half earns more than me, that would definitely be a good thing too!!!!
Lalala....
*****
TV kinda sucks...
Aside from the occasional good stuff like new episodes of Smallville or reruns of movies I like or new premiers...
Otherwise even TV is boring!
AHHHHH.... Even Discovery Channel doesn't seem as nice as back home!
Hehehe....

Still stuck in the US.
Anyhow, the first thing I would like to say is a BIG 'thankyou!' to Amy for all she's done over the last few days....
My beautiful wife seems to have all things in order... Car is back online and spiffy again... fish are NOT dead yet.... this is a big deal in my absence.... And I'm sure the car is closer than ever to being moved into.....
Here in boring old USA, all I've been up to is getting a sore throat, getting bored by Gossip Girl and a bit disapointed by Dan Brown.....
Trying desperately to get down to work..... Maybe I'll start tomorrow.... maybe...
Decided that some City is better than no City and have managed to play it at as close to ZERO graphic detail as possible. It actually works. YEAH!
On the upside, caught the premier of this totally amazing new series tiltled Frankenstein on ch USA.
It's fantastic.... all dark and disturbing... with an imperfect and vulnerable (aka human) lady lead who has a cool, scarred 200 yr old side kick helping her kick articifical butt....
OK. Thats my life. Along with free breakfast, lunch and dinner.... hehehe
Bye bye.

OK. Another revelation today.
I have decided that it is all due and fair to take back some of my comments about my course.
Frankly, and I just found this out today, some of the topics that the instructors have been trying to cover have not actually been matter that they are the most conversant / experts in.
Given this understanding I suppose its unfair to expect them to know alot or be able to answer our questions.
Fair enough.
However, it does not change the fact that they should still not PRETEND to know stuff they don't and luan pong!
It also begs the question on why they should be teaching us anything (for good money) that they are not experts in!
Oh well...
See how....

OK.
Here I am all the way in the US for course.
30 hours of travel u know.
5 weeks away from home.
And the course instructor that i've got seems to know less about the stuff then me.
GREAT!
You know wats even worse?
He PRETENDS to know more.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Well, as usual, its been a while since my last post.
Well, I've been busy.
So some bright spark said we all have the same amount of time in a day so if someone else can find the time to get something done, so can you.
Take it I move so slow that everything is moving relativistic to me.
Bleah.
So anyhow.... I'm in the US again!
Will be here for 6 weeks... sigh....
Well, for all the complaints that I have about the town I'm in... at least I've got free broadband internet access from the hotel....
Oh well....
Then of course the internet connection back home fails the moment I fly - so no contact back home.... GREAT.
Okie... quit complaining....
Which means I have nothing else to talk about.
